What is the best monitor money can buy?
Ok, first off, say money is no object as I have a high stress job, and gaming is my refuge. So I spend ridiculous amounts of money on hardware (I am saying I AM more than a bit ridiculous, not bragging about my budget or high-end system). So, my dream monitor is an Asus (brand negotiable), OLED, 4k, at least 138 hz, and good HDR with a screen size around 40-42 inches. I run hardware well-capable of keeping up with the monitor. That's my wish list, what would you all suggest I look at? I go to these boards as I find I get excellent information from all the highly knowledgeable gamers/computer jockeys who peruse these boards. All input very welcome! Happy Holidays to you all!

your wish list for a monitor is everything i would not recommend.i never recommend
4k as there is no system capable of running it.your always sacrificing settings in
the big AAA titles.(your better off at 1440res ultra'd out all effects in tact and super
smooth gameplay from the high fps).and oled is a throw away monitor there is no
second hand value and you"d be lucky to get 2 years before burn in gets unacceptable
(maybe you'll find somebody dumb enough to buy a used oled )

and i know of where i speak im rockin a 13900k and a asus 4090 o.c and i wont
touch 4k.maybe the 5090 will finally have enough power to hold 4k ulta"d out
with high fps.but i have my doubts.3440x1440 is a better choice than 4k.
or 2560x1440.
