Mouse can't click anything, but still move, drag shortcut and right click (only on desktop page)
Hello, anyone can help me? I have something problem in here. On my laptop actually, my laptop can't click anything even im using external mouse. But is still can right click, and drag some shortcut (only on dekstop page) I have tried various methods, starting from uninstalling Microsoft and other pointing devices in the device manager. Then, I restarted Windows Explorer in the task manager, End task for Windows Explorer, and run a new task again . I even attempted to tweak the mouse properties, which provided a temporary solution at the time. However, the issue persists, and I cannot click when I turn on the laptop.

Sorry guys if my English bad, but i need help for this problem, even my work has disturbed because of this problem

Noted: i've trying my mouse at my PC and still work.. (so basically the issue not coming from mouse)

Still have same issue mate, I tried it yesterday, and this problem reappeared when I turned on the laptop again , Is it possibly a virus?

This sounds oddly similar to an old-school prank (like from the '90s when Windows didn't really have the concept of "non-admin" users): take a screenshot of the desktop, set it as the background, and then remove the desktop shortcuts so that it looks like there are a bunch of clickable icons, but they're really just part of the background.

Basically: have you tried changing the desktop background?

I think changed background on windows 10 Not a helpful solution to this problem, i mean I can't even click a single icon on my laptop at the moment (except using the keyboard to move)
