GPU Not CPU
Hey, so im having this big problem when i play games and it is that on certain game i get some lag when i should not, so i look in my task manager and see that my cpu usage is 99 % but then it comes down to 60% when i stop the game, but i notice my memory is 40% when i play the game, and i hear the cpu is crap so it's best to run things like 3D Graphics Design Renders on the GPU. SO my question is: How do i make my computr run on my GPU and Not on my CPU, I Have an AMD Computer

PS: And yes i have tried using a program called Razor Cortex to lower the cpu usage and then it goes to around 84% but still laggy and i have a program call coretemp to keep it from overheating

if this is a desktop then whatever your monitor is plugged into will be the gpu it runs from. iGPU or dGPU
List your full PC specs.
im using a laptop
pc specs being what exactly?
this may help, i remember having the issue with my laptop using the built in HD gaphics when i 1st got it

Like your processor, gpu, ram, stuff like that. I'd also like to add you can't do everything on just the gpu, things also need to be used by the processor.
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics, i have 8GB of Memory, x2 AMD E-300 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, Saddly i do not have a battery in my computer because it wore out and wehave to get a new one, my Computer is a Laptop: ACPI x64-based PC, And all of this was taken from the Device Manager. And i know the battery has alot to do with the gaming problems but until i get a new computer i'm trying to work around it, and also my computer is 3 years old. So yes i know i need a new one :D LOL

When i went to the link it said: Page not found.

The page you requested does not exist.
" AMD E-300 APU"

Yeah; you aren't going to improve your performance. It won't be possible. That CPU is weak, so maybe you could try closing everything besides the game and see if you get better performance, but I seriously doubt it. If you want to game, a desktop is a better investment 99.9% of the time.

The battery most likely isn't the problem. For gaming, you should usually remove the battery to a laptop and just use the charger
okay thanks, the only question i have now is what specs including which cpu would you recommend i get, because i don't want my next pc to be crap, and i hear the lastest cpu's are in the a-series right?

What budget do you have?

Not right. AMD doesn't make any real gaming CPUs anymore. Especially mobile CPUs.
Gaming CPU == Intel. As simple as that.

the FX 6300 and 8320 are pretty good though, although you would have to use an actual gpu, but the integrated graphics are just awful for gaming anyway, on both Intel and AMD
