Monitor Goes Black when I raise refresh rate above 60hz
I have a AW2523HF 360hz monitor, I am connecting via display port into my graphics card (Nvidia GTX 1050ti) and whenever I go into display settings and attempt to change the refresh rate to anything above 60hz my screen will go black and then revert.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of my Dell drivers and Nvidia graphics drivers and updated them to the newest versions and also updated windows.

Previously, I had a Acer XFA240 using a hdmi and ran 120hz perfectly fine. I’ve tried using hdmi on the AW2523HF and am still unable to use anything above 60hz.

What Dell drivers did you need to uninstall? What exact video drivers did you install (name of setup file?) .

Did you use DDU? If not try it.

Some monitors are different and you should Google the specific monitor with the tag: screen goes black over 300MHz.

Some Free-sync monitors need free-sync set to on within the monitor OSD and within Windows plus your GPU settings. should match the displayed Windows settings.

Also make sure Display settings are set properly as well.

Mostly, I found it is the Free-sync setting, but again, simply use Google with the tag and you shall find your solution. It is how I find many of my, and others, solutions but you need to start looking into things/researching yourself as well.

The problem today is that people rarely seek knowledge and rely on others while the information is there for everyone to see.

What would you do if no one knew the answer? Exactly.

My money is on Free-sync being disabled.

Thank you for the answer, but there is an empty word, I have been investigating Google for the whole day, but there is no result
My old display 144 Gz works perfectly with my 4070 super.
I suppose the thing is in my old motherboard Asus z390a

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
