But yea if you are ever using HDMI/DP audio then you might as well just go use a Game Console cause you are running off terrible audio there with no equalizer or no good features.
So you are not using your SoundBlaster if you are running audio to TV. Unless that TV allows Optical Tos-Link Input and you have ability to use that.

also have refurbed car audio speakers & amps for plenty of stereo and 2.1 solutions
agree if tv has optical out to a AVR that is a good setup I also use in my entertainment center
I turned up my hdtv speakers and the audio is good with Peace EQ software. I am using hdmi from my gpu to my hdmi hdtv and there are alot of sample rates which are good, like 16bit 44000 Hz, 16bit 48000 Hz, and higher sample rate which are 24 bit 48000 Hz, and I think it sounds good.
A soundbar has louder audio and you can hear audio far away from your pc.
