Sceptre Curved 24.5-inch Gaming Monitor up to 240Hz 1080p shockingly good(C255B-FWT240)
Ok, so my main monitor is a LG C3 42 inch 4k 120hz OLED and I LOVE it.

But I have been missing not having a side display for discord. I didnt need anything great. But when I saw a 240hz VA gaming monitor for just $139, I took a chance on it. Zero regrets.

The bad.

Speakers(but who buys a monitor for that?)
The stand wobbles if you try to use the buttons, otherwise stable.
Buttons. I prefer the joystick over 6 button
Back RGB It has rgb? Guess so, but cant really notice it.

The good.

No dead pixel
No back light bleed(not ips I know)
No smearing or ghosting at 240hz(no intentions to use as anything but 240hz, but I may test 60 just to test.

Only thing I am curious about is, how long will it last? If more than a year I call it a win. You get what you pay for, and for $140, 1 to 2 years would be amazing,

But if anybody was curious, this budget monitor is surprisingly good

(I have owned ips, VA TN monitors in the past and currently own OLED) I have some idea of what dead pixels, ghosting, BLB and smearing look like.

If this was my only monitor I would have gone for a 1440p 165hz IPS, but as a side display for discord, chat and testing FPS shooters.

10/10 if your on a budget.

3TB NVME
LG C3 42inch OLED 120hz 4k

Watch out for "ghosting" because there is one game "The Witcher 3" that actually utilizes "ghosting" in their shadow layering design.

This actually got me to research (but initially worry) but yep, those developers thought it best to use ghosting for shadow layering which confused me.

There is a specific term for the process which I do not recall but just make sure it is real ghosting and not something like that which I mentioned.

I took a gamble with AOC and their 1440p Mini-LED model that was on sale and I am glad to say that it has zero backlight bleed as opposed to say a TN (my older monitors) and more vibrant colors, although doesn't do the blackest black like OLED but still for the price ($250) it was an excellent upgrade for me and the GTX 1080Ti.

Nice. Yeah I have a 42 inch LG C3 oled for single player games and a 1440p 180hz 24 inch monitor for multi player. I still have the 240hz but it is meh compared to everything else-it was just dirt cheap when I snagged it

Yeah, it is trash at 60hz. Only fix is to go to 240hz, but if you are using it for a console, not sure. It is a budget monitor, cant expect much from it.
