Cpu upgrade
Which cpu is good for gaming only from i9 9900k i am considering ryzen 7 5800x3d or i5 3600k or i7 13700k and last maybe 7800x3d because i will stick with my ddr4 ram memory.I changed from air cooler dark rock pro 4 to aio before that my i9 9900k is working perfectly with dual channel now wont boot or even wont put display on screen pins on i9 9900k little band but its good now they didn't maybe because of that wont work or my motherboard is dying its always been on second and four channel and this is second time i changed in pc its only work pc on third and last chanel fourth.and now i have low fps because is going single channel not dual channel.

It's not a 'setting', it's a preset, you should be using custom not presets anyway.
I said profile and minus which is the same as preset with some setting tweaks to make it more graphic demanding.

If I can only use "custom" profile word, then I would have to list all settings I used for the benchmark which is silly, so I use this word "RT overdrive profile at 1080p without DLSS" instead for a shorter sentence.

Since when a preview/demo graphical setting is required to enjoy a game?
By this logic some may argue that even 4090 is too slow to fully enjoy the game and you need to compromise and optimise settings.

That's an issue with this game. Cyberpunk 2077 has been performing better on 6C/12T Ryzen CPUs than 8C/16T:
https://www.computerbase.de/2023-07/cyberpunk-2077-smt-problematik-8-kern-amd-prozessoren/

Changing some binary data in the executable increases performance for 8C/12T Ryzen CPUs. It's called Ryzen Fix.

The issue still persists with the latest game update:

I'm still stuck between buying a i7 13700k or ryzen 7 7800x3D.

Would you recommend the i7 over ryezn in this case if their 8 core CPU's have issues?
If you are mostly gaming; even the 7700X would more then enough really.

Idk, I've heard a lot people saying games like Stellaris greatly benefit from v-cache for late game.
Or maybe go a little cheaper and use AM4 B550 w/ 5800X3D + 2x 16GB DDR4-3600; still quite beefy. And then skip the next gen or two and see what comes out after that and then maybe upgrade or do a newer build then.

That's not as big a jump from my existing rig and I already run DDR4 3600 too
I could also wait and see how 14th gen performs. I know performance won't be much over 13th, but it should have less power consumption and heat.

It’s good to wait regardless.
You either: get a slightly better CPU or likely get a better deal on last gen.

Exactly, and there's black friday around the corner so hopefully that'll knock off a good 15 to 20% of my overall build cost.

The heck it isn't ~ That's still a HUGE jump above anything from Intel 9th Gen or 10th Gen.
9900K is like bottom of the barrel nowa days for gaming while 5800X3D is smooth-sailing with whatever you throw at it.

Wouldnt a 7600(or 7500f)+ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 with a cheap 2x8GB 5600 kit cost about the same?

I agree.

I wouldn’t go with AM4 platform any more.
I have an AM4 board and even then I’m not sure if upgrading to 5800x3D is worth it when some of the newest games make it sweat. I think new Forza has 1% lows below 60fps.
I personally would go with 7700x/7800x3D or 13700k/13900k or wait for new CPUs.

AM4 is a dead platform when AM5 will likely let people upgrade to 9800x3D and maybe even 11800x3D (just guessing the names of new AMD cpus here).
