Are you serious!?
Player-vs-Player (aka Online Multiplayer)
really it means any game where players fight other players, but in this case its really referencing fast paced games where low fps can affect your competitiveness, think of tf2 or cs-go
I am trying to figure that out lol (player vs player) I never really got into that. But am trying it out.
But yea in some games like TF2, Destiny2, Overwatch; where it really will help to have around 120-250 FPS or more. Basically any online PvP game that is not locked. Even Call of Duty types. But then in Battlefield 1 or 5 for example they would have servers with a locked 30 or 60 FPS.
Players even resort to playing with lower screen res or lower visuals just to get the FPS up more in those more competitive fps games.
Yeah. I figured as much as what you said but I'm really wondering why it's being called thay and if I should get with thr program and stop saying online multiplayer.
i never played it. but uh thats an interesting decision
but even pvp is a vague description
This isnt working, the entire screen goes 1920x1080,
Any idea what Im doing wrong?

There is no 1080p under pc but when I try to manually add it it claims there is. The only 1080p is on the ultra hd (top half of the tv settings)
1. open nvidia panel
2. turn off scaling
3. select 1920x1200
4. open display settings in windows
5. change screen res to 1920x1080
Only issue is this looks to be on par with that of a 27 inch display. Still larger than I want for pvp, but alot better than 4k for pvp. 4k looks way better, but just too much for my aging eyes to keep up with and I sit about 1 2 to 3 feet from the monitor, just too much screen to scroll over when aiming so Ill give this a shot. Thanks again!
Also check the refresh rate, when this is selected already, then it will only show Screen Res that support that Refresh Rate.
If you change it in NVIDIA Control Panel; you don't have to change it via Windows Settings.
The reason to use the NVIDIA Control Panel for this is so you can also pick the correct refresh rate.

But that one doesnt work properly since thats for the tv mode. But I managed to get it going.
I am happy I didnt pick up a 1080p. I cant see anybody in the distance. How the hell do ppl snipe at 1080p? Ill stick with my 120hz on this oversized tv lol I can atleast hit a target
