It's called \\?\volume{60e879... and its a solid state drive. What is it and can i use it?

Doesn't say, i found it on the windows optimize drives list

There's a lot of hidden stuff on your pc. Are you looking at "hidden file" and/or even "system files"? which are both hidden by default?

Is it a partition? What does the partition manager (diskmgmt.msc) say?

You may see a partition listed in the Disk Optimization tool with a drive name that starts something like “\\?\Volume”. This is the Microsoft Reserved Partition (MSR). The MSR is used to support UEFI and GPT systems. It does not need to be defragmented or optimized, and must not be deleted.
