I wouldnt buy anything like that from Amazon, I will get sent cat food instead
Have you ever returned anything to Scan? I have.........
I'm not saying 8GB is useless - I have 8GB of vram currently (5700XT), and it's fine for most / all games with the right texture setting - but if I'm going to spend major $$$ for an upgrade I want more than 8. I'm watching a YT video right now about 8GB not being enough for the new RE4 w/ RTX enabled. 8GB of vram and more than $500? no way
I will be using my xbox for most games, the PC is just for PC exclusives.
Do you have a preference for AMD or nVidia (or otherwise is ray tracing important)?
Answering those will really help narrow down the best options.
Its just going to be for PC strategy games and total warhammer, Baldurs gate 3 and homeworld 3.
Ray tracing has never ever bothered me frankly, I dont think its worth it.
You're confusing amazon with Micky D loll
Unless over on the other side they hired all the McD employees
No theres been a few stories recently of people buying expensive electrical goods and when they open the box it has cat food or flour or something. amazon told people to film their boxes being opened.
It partially answers the second, but do you otherwise have a brand preference?
Not really, but I guess due to general chatter, I was looking at Nvidia because thats all I hear about?
