power + analog signal
usb and bt are poor
bt always adds some lag due to audio compression/decompression
go wired if you can
bt sets are good enough for voip, where some extra lag does not hurt, and audio range is limited to voice freq
BT wise you want BT 5 or higher as that has lower latency, supposedly, not tested myself. If BT is less than version 5 then you want to look for a headset that supports the Aptx-LL, Low latency, codec. 40ms vs the other codecs 200+ms. Aptx-LL wise you'll also need a BT transmitter that supports Aptx-LL. I've got Creatives BT-W2 and the later BT-W3 USB dongles that support Aptx-LL.
Even with BT <5 if you're watching videos using something like VLC media player you can adjust the audio delay to compensate for any latency. None Aptx-LL and older BT versions you're looking at 200-250ms delay so adjusting audio Delay -200ms to -250ms means the audio will play earlier and you shouldn't notice any lipsync issues.
blows away M.B.sound cards has much tighter/punchier bass/mids and crisp clean highs.)
But yea I rarely use MB audio I use Creative or a USB DAC+AMP
