Lenovo Legion 5 15ith6h gets so hot
Hi!!

I have given to my girlfriend a Lenovo Legion 5 15ith6h (16GB, RTX3060, Intel i5) and it gets hot just started for the first time, and the charger too.

I would like to ask two doubts:

1. Is there any programm un Lenovo to watch temperture, VRAM and CPU usage, etcétera, as I can do in my HP OMEN?

2. Does the Lenovo Legion 5 15ith6h get Hot so easily or It is a hardware failure?

Thank you so much!

first thing I would do is enable the nvidia frame limiter to whatever your monitor refresh is (60, 144, etc)

https://www.howtogeek.com/509097/how-to-set-a-maximum-frame-rate-in-nvidias-drivers/

then setup the fan control should help keep things the way you like

Limiting a screen to 144 FPS generally is not low enough to help. If the screen is 120Hz, limit to 60, if 144Hz limit it to 72.

If it gets hot even when idling, check if CPU or GPU are used by something.
Additionally, check if cooling works properly (clear dust).
