Does anyone know why copying speed on TeraCopy is slower than just using default windows explorer? It is so weird.

Like for example I only get 50 to 55 MB/sec with TeraCopy but like 100 to 120MB/sec with default windows explorer when copying files or folders.


I paid for the Pro version too this sucks. :(

I had read your thread when you made it, but I don't know that program so I can't answer the question. I've heard of the program before but I would have told you before to either try it because it's hit/miss or at least see if they have a trial before paying for it. I know it's late now.

I've seen other people be disappointed with the program and I have played with it in the past without much hopes and from what I remember it did the same if not slightly worse than regular Windows copying/pasting but already knew it wouldn't provide anything better.

Can you get a refund? Can you post your setup? Userbenchmark if you have one or CPU-Z thing?

As much details as possible would help. Is your drive encrypted?
