Just brought the THICC 3 Ultra I'm having in game audio issues also...
These issues a like a stuttering audio cutting in and out.

As a side not question I have just watched this review of the card:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Vpx6ecvhVM&t=514s

And he is testing the witcher 3 1440p max so I did the same but he is getting 65c temps where I am getting 70c - 75c after a 5 minutes or so.

Any help appreciated

Wipe all gpu and audio drivers using the DDU app. Do the actual wipes in safe mode.

Download and install latest gpu and audio drivers before the wipe. After the wipe, reboot normally and install your new drivers, reboot when done.

Temps are fine if not peaking above 85*C

Cheers bad motha regarding the temps.

The GPU and audio drivers I've done exactly that when doing it yesterday several times
I'm actually contemplating going back to nvidea which I thought I'd never say again but at least I didn't have any driver issues. I don't have a clue how to fix these issues. *sighhh

The card I replaced with a 5700 xt was a radeon 7 same driver I sure but didn';t have these issues.
Thicc series is not very great.
best 5700/xt is Sapphire Nitro Plus

Probably just the diffrerence between an open-air test bench and actually installing the gpu in a case.

Check your overclocks, though. Using the OC bios on my Red Dragon automatically tuned it to hit 2064 mhz (which resulted in a lot of heat). Turning the frequency down to stock rating of 1905mhz boost clock fixed the operating temps. Undervolting also helped.

20.2.2? Because that version works very well for me. (Powercolor Red Dragon 5700XT)

Actually hotspot temp is rated to 110C on Radeon.

I'll add aswell it fine just browsing youtube and whatnot just in game it is occuring
I wouldn't have bought the THICC models... they tend to run as hot as the reference cards because heat gets trapped inside the poorly designed cooler.
Also a Thicc III Ultra 5700XT user, coming from a 1070ti - no audio probs, did the DDU in safe mode then installed 20.2.2 afterwards. Very impressed with the cooling on it, hitting 83C max with default fan speeds with an open-air case.

On a side note I did get fed up with a variety of Realtek audio problems I faced with AMD and Nvidia GPUs (figured it was a Windows update problem), got a Sound Blaster Play!3 USB, all audio problems went away. Prior to that a workaround I used GPU audio from my monitor headphone out, might be a good temporary solution for you as well.

I'm still going to get rid of it (well refunded) I just reinstalled my Radeon 7 (Radeon VII) and everything is working fine as it should be.

Already in the process of refunding it through amazon I got it at a decent price though £350 I can't be dealing with driver issues unfortunately this has put me off AMD which I don't want to be :(
Has to be the GPU (5700 xt drivers) as I have just reinstalled my Radeon VII no probs!
Tbf if you have a Radeon VII not sure why you would purchase a 5700XT. Performance will be about the same with the Radeon VII having the edge in bandwidth-dependent scenarios. (The VII will use a lot more power though.)
