getting windows 10 to recognize headphones connected to controller
I was able to get my xbox one controller to work on PC via bluetooth. But when I plug wired headphones into the controller's headphone jack, nothing happens. How do I make windows 10 recognize the headphones attached to my bluetooth gamepad?

Or does that only work when using an xbox one controller on an xbox one?

Check Windows Playback/Recording and that controller should now show as an audio device, to which you set as default to have it be used for audio. However this might have issues when the controller is disconnected or turned off and such steps might need to be repeated again before launching audio apps, games, etc.

my pc only recognizes my wired headphones when my controller is connected via usb. If it is connected via bluetooth, it doesn't recognize anything wired to my controller

The headphones has to be single 4 pole jack (speakers and mic all in one jack)

But yea it's possible that it might only work via USB when using it on PC
