i upgraded my GT730 to RX5600 RT
YES,
I have an oooold pc.
and was about to buy a whole new system.
I was wondering WHAT IF
I put the new Gen PCIE 4 into a PCIE 2 mobo.

so I took out the old GT 730 from ASUS M5A97 EVO
and slot in the RX5600 RT.

I was running rFactor 2 with low setting at less than 20fps.
When I powered up the new graphic card, it went to 200+fps.

Then I loaded the graphics to max and it ran high 150fps
with 15 cars. Starting race was 98fps average.

ALL THESE was with AMD X6 1055T

My eyes popped out of its socket !

nowadays I read discussions forum about "7nm" and such terms.

BUT These are manufacturing terms.
Gamers should be talking about $$ and fps.
These should be the language of gamers.

compared to your old gpu your cpu is kinda decent...

GT 730 was never good at anything besides as a media gpu to install into an office PC. So no wonder.

5600 XT is more then capable of running most games well at 1080p.

Your CPU however is extremely lacking and many modern games will refuse to run on that due to lack of SSE 4.xx instructions.
