Does OC Scanner in MSI Afterburner work?

Using it for my GTX 1050 on my laptop. I did the scan and it was done but I didn't see any changes in the menu for it so did it OC my 1050?

I'm at -0.1V and it runs fine. Temp went down by 2-3C but when playing Modern Warfare I get a power limit throttling but it doesn't hinder my FPS. Is it fine if its on?

Yea it's fine for the power boost to reach the max or even have the gpu clocks bounce around as the actual load changes. And just because the gpu load and clocks fluctuate doesn't mean the fps will bounce around.

Avoid overclocking a laptop unless you know what you’re doing. I overclocked my RX560X. 1435/1570.

It's meant to find ideal voltage curves across all possible clock rates from idle to power limit. It does work, but it is no different than eVGA Precision's functionality, this is actually a driver feature.

I have a new ASUS GTX 1650 Super. In OC mode which sets a curve, doesn't do that good of a job overclocking. IT only gives me a +75 core clock. (I read somewhere that the OC mode doesn't touch the memory clock setting at all so that is going to limit your top end).
I'm currently running at +175 core clock, +500 memory clock, power limit 120 and temp limit 87. I use the Kombuster stress test and run for 2 min, no problems, temps stay below 67° (my house is kinda warm also lol). Then I also run the Artifact scanner for 2 min and adjust until there are no artifacts. Seems on my Dell Optiplex 7010MT, these settings are the best I can achieve.
