I'm also a bit surprised it wouldn't be documented whether it does or doesn't support it (or maybe the lack of mentioning it could be taken as though it doesn't).
I will indeed try the Dell forums if I don't have any other reply here or from Dell.
I'm pretty sure my system can handle the feature, I saw other people online having the same card and processor using it. I just told Dell about the BIOS, it could affect any other person using the same Alienware without them knowing about it (not everyone is aware of this feature's existence).
Well it's not really up to them to answer hardware / software support questions if your Dell/Alienware warranty has expired. That's kind of how that all works.
Go to dell.com/support website and enter your Dell Express Service Code. Once that identifies your actual model of system, look at the support section for it. There should be a forums/discussions area for that model
