RTX 2080 Ti for $302.50 USD?
Is it a good price?

My monitor is the Odyssey G9 Monitor.

edit: The GPU Used, it has a 3 Fan and it’s the EVGA brand.

I'd say it is. It still packs a punch, but it also depends on the condition and manufacturer. However, for that monitor you may want something more powerful for the higher resolution you're pushing.
I'd say yeah, because at this point the 2xxx series gpus were the last generation of gpus to exist with just an overall cool pc gaming era and I miss it. Maybe, it's me getting older though
If factory new, then yes. Would try a cheaper deal.. though.

If used, then no way!

In that case used no, even if it is a collector's item.
Used 2080Ti for $300 isn't exiting, it's around 15% faster than 3060Ti or 6700xt.
You can buy brand new 6700xt for around $350 these days.

Aw, a pity about that EVGA.

Here is a rough idea of the supposed "typical" price for gpu/s such as the one you're looking at. To make it mercifully brief, ebay's average price for a used 2080Ti was 390 USD. That's significantly more than the price you're quoting here.

So I would be a touch suspicious as you can't glean more info, like was it used for mining (probably) and if so, for how long?

Does that gpu have a seller's guarantee like 30 days or something?

oops forgot to link the source i used:

It's roughly comparable to a 6700 XT (and likely to be aging worse than it), which you can get new for around $350 to $400. $300 for it used is sort of the highest it makes sense at to me, specifically if you desire the nVidia features.

Personally.... I'd never buy a used GPU for the simple reason that you can't know what the previous owner put it through
It's not bad, but I would aim higher with that monitor

my friend bought a g9 and needed to upgrade the 2080ti that wasn't able to perform well enough to a 4090 to run demanding games more properly.

5120x1440 is around 90% the res of 4k so that gives you a rough idea of how well it'll perform.
It’s similar to 3070 but with 11GB of VRAM.
OK price I would say but mainly because the whole GPU market is bad.

Ya but prices... Im holding onto my 2080ti until they release DP 2.1 and DLSS 3.0 in a 1000 dollar package with 4090 perf

So 2024 :p

That's not happening in 2024, because based on NVIDIA's typical practices, I would expect the 5080 to only be marginally faster than the 4080 for a higher price tag, same goes for the 4090 vs 5090.

I think it would be DP 2.1 and dlss 4.0 and probably run you $2,000 so more like never?
