Varify code etc?.

Hi. I formatted windows but microsft not sending the varify email code. Also i noticed in edge that spell checker is not working either. If you make a spelling mistake it use to underline in red but thats been turned off too.

Any one else having problems with MS latley?. Im using email to send the code which has worked in past.

What verify? MS never does this. You mean for your Microsoft Account? Such as Outlook?
You simply go to Settings > Updates & Security > Activation.
Then you should see your OS has auto re-activated.
In OS Settings or within Edge you will need to enable Spell Check + Dictionary options. They are not enabled by default.

Hi no. Go into settings in windows, Accounts, Your Info. Verify your identity and press the verify button.

My windows 11 is already activated it just the verify code it not sending.

Also in privacy, Search and services i cant log into manage your data as again it asks to send that verify code but it will not send for some reason.

I never like giving my phone number to these people lol. Ive never had a problem in past with the verify code been sent to my email. Is it a new thing they done only sending code to your phone?.

No, I've used the phone method since the days of when Win7 was fairly new.
It simply is a 2-step verification method. So it can text message me one time code to get into my email if I have forgotten the pw for example.

What I'm trying to understand for your issue(s) is what is this Verify Code for exactly?

Its to verify my identity signing into account. I cant clear cookies etc in Clear browsing data manage your data.

Ive changed the email to my phone number and it sent straight away but it wont update for code for another month.

All i want is to varify my account like always after a format but you got to go threw this now.
