Experiences with Windows 11 (Pro) and Steam Gaming.
Hi all,
I have bought me a new Gaming PC with those specs:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X auf ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI)
360mm-Radiator - CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT, Weiß - ARGB
64 GB DDR4 3600 MHz (4 x 16 GB) - CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO SL weiß
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 - GIGABYTE GAMING OC
M.2 SSD: 4 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 - WD_BLACK SN850X
M.2 SSD: 2 TB M.2 - Lexar NM610PRO
SSD: 1 TB Silicon Power Ace A55
SSD: 1 TB Samsung Evo 850
Netzteil 850 Watt - GIGABYTE P850G
Gehäuse: Thermaltake View 200 TG ARGB black
OS: Windows 11 Pro

It should replace my gaming Notebook:

AMD Ryzen 9 3900 12-core Desktop CPU (desktop CPU)
32GByte RAM
nVidia GeForce RTX 2070 Desktop GPU (desktop Grafic card)
4 TB XPG Spectrix S40G SSD
2 TB Samsung SSD 850 EVO
OS: Windows 10 Pro

The reason is, that the notebook often crashes or just froze when playing grafically intensive games due to the bad power supply.
My question basically is, what experiences do you have with Windows 11 (Pro) in combination with Steam and gaming using Steam.
Best regards

are you trading it in or something, might aswel keep both no?
or are you financing the actual computer build with it.

that said if you can keep both it'd be a nice addition for portable to keep the notebook aswel.
I will keep the notebook for travelling.

For me interesting is, how the gaming performance is under Win11.
Windows 11 rarely has issues, since just a modified Windows 10. Windows 12 is coming with a lot of new features and changes, but am sure gaming will be just fine on it.
Windows 11 works just fine. I can't even remember a problem with it.
