Have you ever used them? They will sound better than your m50x and give far better soundstage. i dont imagine youve listened to many good sound systems or headphones with your jbl creature and m50x
Back when I was learning about cans and what makes for a good sound pair, I'd tried the M50X and immediately recognized that it was not for me. It sounded bad to me, instead, one of the many cans I went for is the ATH-A900X Ltd Edition, good sounding pair of can. I got it because I like Audio Technical, even snagged and owned the excellent ATH-AD2000, an open back that shone with female vocals. The trouble was, its treble was a tad too hot for me, though I like some sparkle in my cans.
I now have >10 pairs of cans, ranging from a couple of entry level to mid end to higher end cans, and most are open back, with just three being closed (Denon AD7000, ATH-A900X LTD Editio0n, modded Fostex T50RP) and I do enjoy them immensely.
Do you use spotify to listen to music? Clearly money isnt too much of an issue based off your pc specs but spending 500$ on bluetooth headphones where the sony wh-1000xm5 are the best option in terms of sound quality for the price then youre really not looking the right direction for value. Focal make some good wireless headphones but theyre out of your budget
When wanting to go wired for even better audio, just plug into a decent external USB based sound card. Creative Sound Blaster X4 or a cheaper USB based one, Sennheiser has a few as well.
Grab a vmoda boom mic if you need mic input attached to the cans, or something like the antlion wireless modmic.
Easy.
