Using Xbox Guide button causes windows cursor issues...
Specifically if I ever use the guide button on my Gulikit Zen Pro Wireless (when in windows mode it shows up to Steam as a xbox one controller) it causes the mouse cursor to vanish anytime I attempt to use Steam's taskbar drop down menu or the setting dialogs. It's super annoying and only way to fix it is to close Steam and restart it.

I had to go find a random discussion thread to download a DLL to disable the guide button entirely as I have found no official way to do this in Steam. Sure I can disable xbox game bar in windows and disable the button from bringing up Big Picture mode but that's about it.

I even went into Guide Button Chord configuring and unmapped EVERYTHING and this bug still happens. Anyone else had this problem?

Sure would be great if I could unmap it I tried making layout changes to the controller in General Controller configuration's Define Layout section but any time I try to save a layout change the controller vanishes from steam for a second and reappears but with the original layout so I can't seem to change the general layout. :(

Then it's something with your controller, Steam or Steam BigPictureMode config. The cursor might be disappearing to indicate that you are somehow toggling the controller into Desktop Mode, which allows the controller to act as Mouse and media player controller

be sure to map controls for each controller, each can have its own binding for bpm/chord/desktop and each game

it may also be steam stealing focus
steam -> settings -> controller -> [general] -> untick button guide focus steam

That's already unticked for me. About the only thing ticked there are xbox configuration support and the join joycons as one option. I could untick the xbox configuration support but I do like using the controller to control the mouse from time to time so I don't want to disable that. (plus I wouldn't be able to remap buttons for games)
