Thank you. Will hopefully change it for a new one on my birthday.
So sorry, am I not to invest in a GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card or should I? Just the wording weak to reap, has confused me. Thanks
If you are talking about Hogwarts Legacy, I tried lowering the settings all the way, but it is still crashing.
Crashing could be a symptom of something completely different.
It's hard to determine what is causing the crash to happen.
Before I start HL, it comes up with a message "know issues with graphics driver". I am very sceptical, when it comes to updating graphics drivers. I have had many PC blue screen of deaths happening, after updating my graphics driver, using Driver Booster on Steam, but also the main NVIDIA driver updater online.
Get new drivers from Nvidia and install them.
Why? Blame nVidia for purposely putting 8GB on powerful card, and 12GB on a weaker card because they want owners of those more powerful cards to upgrade due to insufficient VRAM buffer for high res + High Texture + RT gaming. Enabling RT chews up a lot of VRAM, so does maxing out textures.
I also believe that the 12GB VRAM on the RTX 4070 Ti would soon prove insufficient at 1440P or higher at max ingame setting. Already they are games hitting that 12GB threshold, so the RTX 4070/4070 Ti 12GB are gonna be like the RTX 3060 Ti/3070/3070 Ti of the previous generation.
I have had the new drivers from Nvidia installed in the past, but I had a BSOD happened shortly after installed the driver. It could be something else that was causing the BSOD to happen but i'm not really sure at the moment, knowing that I have already reset my PC quite a few times already. I might download the new drivers from the Geforce app, saving going online, but will see.
post a cpuz validation link
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here
if the pc meets the min req, the game will run
even below it can still run, but may not be playable, but should not crash/bsod
crash/bsod is other problems
My specs are
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
6GB Video Ram
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor
16gb ram
I have tried playing it on low settings but still crashes.
