Ok yea if its a PCIE 3.0 max supporting CPU then AMD GPUs are out of the question.
RTX 20 and 30 series doesn't really have that issue however.

They make a lower powered Mini RTX 2060 and 2070
so ur saying its safe for my 350 watt psu?

Okay if you already have Rx 6400 then Rx 6500xt is meaningless. They are almost the same. As of matter of fact I own the xfx Rx 6400 and it does the exact same thing as the Rx 6500xt. One is barely faster than the other and you happen to have the one that actually makes more sense. The 6400 will always make far more sense.

Your pretty much stuck in the same realm of Rx 6400/GTX 1650/Rx 6500xt. You can only run these and you already have one. You must get a PSU or you're stuck with side grades.

You need a PSU and an rtx 3060 and call it a day (or the Rx 6700).
how is the 6500xt meaningless if there is a 8gb vram version plus the 8gb version is faster and better than the 4gb version

He can’t because he needs a new motherboard as it has a 4pin atx power connector, not a 24pin

He would have to change out the motherboard and power supply, and the case itself won’t fit full size GPUs so he’d need a smaller single fan model most likely

Best case scenario is a 1650 Super in terms of power budget because the PSU probably can’t handle more than a 100W card in the long term
thats it i have an idea we should find a psu with a 4pin connector

No, both of those cards need a 500W PSU basically because they draw more than any GPU you were looking at. He's just hating on x8 GPUs like the 6600 and 6600-XT that are literally fine.

No it isn't faster, it's the same GPU with more VRAM. More VRAM doesn't mean more speed, it just means more video RAM capacity so it can run higher settings because of the 8GB buffer vs the 4GB buffer, but it doesn't make it any faster as long as both stay within their buffer limits.

Extremely unlikely since the PSU is made specific to the system, and more trouble than its worth. It'll easily cost you as much as a better PSU even if it exists.

You're better off getting a whole new system, stop trying to save that thing. We're trying to help you and you're just ignoring us, making new threads every other day and asking the same questions over and over when we've given you suitable answers.

1. Buy a better pre-built or have a company like NZXT build a system for you.

2. Learn how to build and maintain your own system and stop making excuses, it's easy.

3. Buy a low watt GPU like a GTX 1650 or RTX A2000.

i mean i do want a faster gpu with 8gb vram but even if the 6500xt 8gb isnt faster than the 4gb it still can do higher settings than the 4gb version and thats also what i want in a gpu higher setting

It's a 4 lane card so it won't be able to run high settings in your system regardless because PCI-e 4.0 x4 runs up to 30% slower in a PCI-e 3.0 system like yours, so it'd be literally worse than a GTX 1650 or 1650 Super. Even when the 6500-XT is running 4.0 x4 mode, it's still only competing with the 1650S.

You can keep the CPU and maybe the RAM from the Victus, and pull the storage drive(s) as well to use in this. If the RAM doesn't work, which HP RAM often doesn't as they have a chip that makes it so it only works in HP motherboards, then you need new RAM, hence the Corsair RAM on the list.

RTX A2000 . Even you ll save from the power bills
hmm maybe but the 12 gb version is expensive and 12gb would be a version that would cover recomended settings for games in the current generation but at the same time 6gb is cheaper and would work as well i guess

Yes, I wouldn't pick garbage like HP does.

alright thank u
MSI makes the best motherboards overall these days, Corsair makes good products in general, Thermalright has some of the best air coolers on the market especially for the prices they charge. Sapphire is the best GPU maker for AMD.
