How to enable advance settings in BIOS on hp gaming laptop?
Hello guys, i have HP gaming laptop 15, have one igpu and one dgpu, so when i navigate to nvidia settings, and put csgo to run on dgpu ( gtx1650) its still run it on igpu from processor, so i have very bad gameplay. I want to disable integrate graphic card but dont know how. Is it possible that my laptop monitor to be attached on gtx insted igpu?
I read on google that can be done from bios, but i cant find advance settings in bios. Can someone help?

update your intel driver and nvidia driver from the hp mainpage first, move on to intel/nvidia drivers later if u have issues with the drivers issued by HP.

After that is done. You would want to use the nvidia card on certain games etc. U can do that following this guide;

You shouldn't have to disable anything. That's not the answer. Laptops have something called Optimus. This handles the switching of the GPU processor.

Comment #1 is probably the answer I would try before disabling anything.

In Nvidia control panel? Strange.
Then check if intel drivers are doing something fishy, if not then Windows.

You can't disable iGPU only if the dGPU is not connected with MUX switch and probably it isn't.

I know that laptop is not the best option when it goes to playing games, but i dont have pc, so i need to optimize it for best performance if you understand me bro. Btw. its amd igpu, from ryzen processor. And unfortunately, i think that i dont have nither Optimus, nither MUX switch, so i cant switch it from one to other graphic. That's why i want to disable igpu in bios, bcs everything is handled by that integrated card. I have decent fps in games, but gameplay poor, like shape of slowmotion.

No one said you have to use desktop.

The problem is: the monitor and other HDMI/DP connectors are controlled by the iGPU, so you can't, otherwise you know what's going to happen.

In the Andrenalin software, I don't remember there being such an option, and even if it's already set in Nvidia control panel. Have you tried this? Settings > System > Display > Graphics Settings. From there you should be able to add all the programs you want and set the correct GPU by yourself.

Well, AMD iGPUs aren't that bad, but I know the difference between 40, 110 and 210 FPS (with a huge resolution sacrifice)

you cant disable the igpu thats the only thing thats connected to the display
the dedicated gpu writes to the igpu frame buffer for it to display and control vsync/gsync/freesync

Wipe the drivers out completely using the DDU app. And do it in Windows Safe Mode.

Then once Intel and NVIDIA are all wiped out. Reboot normally and get the drivers through Intel and NVIDIA.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

Install everything for Intel first. Then reboot and install the Nvidia.

https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/210647

Reboot again after the NVIDIA one is finished. Then set Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Select High Performance GPU and set as default and apply.

Then set Power Management to Prefer Max Performance and apply.
