Smoothest (custom) android skin you've ever used?

That would be MIUI (china), EMUI (rip Huawei o7),and pixel OS for me, thez were really smooth

By custom I thought you meant one of those third party icon and menu replacers which are laggy af. But stock android pixel OS is best.

OneUI was feature-rich but LineageOS (without Google spyware of course) takes the cake for me. It was butter smooth on a 4 year old phone. (Samsung Galaxy A70)

I like my Android as close to stock android as possible and Motorola is luckily one of those companies which do that.
And I plan on getting a Fairphone as my next phone which will also ship stock android. No stupid resource heavy menus. Who cares about having everything nicely organized, making sure that everyone has the same experience?

Edit: Though I did replace the app launcher with the KISS launcher. Like it's lightweight and very usable. It's not a launcher for everyone, but it's good for me.

Lineage is the best because it's bloat free, also does a good job of keeping phones updated when manufacturers stop updates.
Only thing I dislike about Lineage is that they don't use propriety firmware, which causes poor performance in cameras.
