CPU with best single threaded performance?
I'm playing many games that are only optimized to use only 1 core, so I'm looking to brute force my way in as much as possible.

Current best recommendations I see are the i7 13700k or the i9-13900k.

Would either of these CPU's be sufficient for brute forcing single threaded games?

yes
if you can disable the e cores, then it will not run on the lower performance cores

here is a list with the best performing cpu's for single core, then just disable the E-cores on the specific process

Just use the latest i7 and then disable the Turbo and manually OC the Base Core Clock
