How can i fix my monitors colors from looking washed out?

I just bought a brand new ultragear lg 24gq50f-b monitor and its honestly great over all i only have one problem with it which is the fact that there seems to be a light gray filter on the screen at all times and I've tried cranking the digital vibrance up in the nvidia control panel and that helped alot but the colors lost depth the higher i turned the slider which is not ideal so now im stuck wondering if is there a way to fix this without running the colors or should i just get used to it?

I should also add that the other monitor that i was using before was a lg E2250 and it was 14 years old at this point so i was basically using 100 percent digital vibrance at all times and the profile that im using is the gamer 1 that has gamma set to 2.2 and brightness to 100 percent and rgb colors are R:46 G:50 B:44

Try switching the output color formats in the Nvidia Control panel or whatever AMD has as an alternative if applicable.

I'd start by setting everything back to default, drivers too if needed. After that maybe try a different cable... and go from there. Power and eye saving features, and hdr can leave things looking washed out too.

my monitor doesn't support hdr and as for the cable ive tried HDMI and display cables both were identical

Perhaps because it is VA not IPS monitor

sure ive heard about va panels having bad viewing angles but there seems to be a light gray filter on every angle that i look at the monitor

Your Drivers have in DISPLAY a setting for Brightness, Contrast and Saturation, also Color Temperature, on my new one I keep it at 7000K, I like neutral grays no yellow.
Your Monitor has this in its menu also.
If you want to set it and forget it, do it in the monitor first.

Typically, there are also more than one profile that can be accessed by the GPU driver depending on your GPU manufacturer for the screen.

There's often a price to pay with monitors. You have a monitor that's nice and fast for games. Gaming monitors, the manufacturers often sacrifice picture quality for gaming performance. The only real answer is to spend more money, and even if you spend thousands, there is sill no such thing as a perfect monitor.

so i have an rtx 3060 ti gigabyte eagle oc version and the driver version is 545.37 and im currently running windows 11 pro and the hdr setting is off also the greyness is present in every profile not just in gamer 1

it has them all but in every profile the greyness still is noticeable
