tower coolers can reduce performance if the mobo does not have good vrm cooling
forcing vrm throttling before the cpu has a chance to get warm
if its a good board, better cpu cooler will allow for it to boost higher for longer
The only reason I would replace the cooler is if I didn't like the noise level.
So don't panic when it shows high temps.
80 degrees is fine, Ryzen CPUs are designed to operate at up to 95 degrees Celsius, after which they start to throttle.
