What GPU would be worth getting?

I have right now, RX 5700 XT, and I have around 500 to 700 pounds for new GPU but I'm very unsure, what to get

The reason, why I wanna upgrade because of stable diffusion and how slow it is with RX 5700 xt

We don't know if they want to buy something outside of their country or not. Until they come tell us that "buying outside of my country" is an option I would instead show them something inside of their country first.

When you say "Global shipping service" are you referring to ebay offering that?

Shopee, amazon, and aliexpress for asia. The majority of ecommerce stores alr have global shipping service these days. Heck.. you can alr open a store even if you live in other region

Amazon UK has 6950xt for £577
4070 for a similar price.
Overclockers UK has 7900xt for £749 and you get starfield premium edition worth £89.99

All decent options. 4070 is the safest bet but amd gives better raw performance. Not every game has frame generation and RT is often not worth the performance hit even on nvidia. Not every game even have DLSS (all capcom games).

Two new UE5 games perform surprisingly good on AMD gpus.

However if a game does have nice RT, DLSS and frame generation then nvidia goes ahead.

Here is Remnant 2 benchmark. 1% low results are very surprising.

I'm not sure we should take any value from suggestions from someone with a 9 year old computer. For one thing: Even playing at 1080p requires an above average video card now. I only have 1080p/144 Hz monitor and I'm already seriously considering upgrading from my RTX 3070 Ti (8GB VRAM) -> to either an RTX 4080 or Radeon 7900 XT just for the 16 (or 20) GB of VRAM and something with more performance than my 3070 Ti can give at the same time. The days of lower mid-range cards for 1080p are long gone today. Anyone with a 1440p screen would need even more GPU than those two I listed for gaming with the new games coming out this fall and next year.

Maybe if you're willing to run at medium/low settings for playing games. Not everyone is willing to do that. I certainly would *NEVER* do that in any game. I want everything to be beautiful with all the options turned on. If my hardware can't run a game like that at 70~144 FPS then I just wouldn't play it and instead wait until I afford a newer video card. Playing games with medium graphics only is depressing as heck. That's just a constant reminder that we can't afford a better GPU.

That's just sad. I haven't played any game below 60 FPS in at least 8-10 years.

I'm sorry to hear that. It must be painful trying to play modern games on such an old computer. :( I was fortunate to be able to buy a modern 2022 computer for free with Covid Stimulus.

You have no idea what I've gone through in life or how old I am. I'm disabled and can't walk well without assistance thanks to a drunk driver years ago. I'm also not a Kid. I'm 48 and playing computer games is one of the few enjoyments I still get out of life. It's very important to me to enjoy it. To that end: I'm depressed enough with life. I wouldn't dare play a game at anything below the highest graphics settings. I wouldn't want a constant reminder of being unable to afford a faster GPU by enduring low FPS. It's better to just not play it at all than endure low FPS like that.

RX 580 is not too weak for modern games .Its disadvantage is the significantly high power consumption .

The RX 580 is 6 years old. It's so slow that even the RTX 3050 is faster than it by a lot and that's the bottom of the 30 series budget cards from last year.

OP said there using it for Stable Diffusion and Ai Stuff. First rule is never buy an AMD Card for those stuff due to lack of Native CUDA Support which is Nvida only. The state of ROCM is slow and lackluster, besides it's Linux only as of 2023. It was recently announced for Windows but has yet to happen, probably not anytime soon. As for for now. There's HIP for Windows, but the performance is poor and underwhelming compared to an Nvidia GPU, also more complains about compatibility and performances than praises.

Bad idea. Stable Diffusion he wants to use gobbles up VRAM so you want minimum 16 GB and as much as possible.
