I want to run my games on windows 7 offline!
Hello guys. I have dedicated pc for retro gaming. This PC is for windows 7 and windows 7 only. I will never update it to windows 10. Is there any way to continue use my steam games on windows 7 offline? Make offline back up installers or something?

simple
time /t > "D:\Games\Steam\package\tmp"

*change path to match where steam is installed to
then steam cannot update, and will remain at whatever ver it is

You just make sure you launch the games at least one time while you're online. This will make sure there are no pending updates that would prevent you from playing. Some games won't like it if you change hardware, so you don't want your PC configuration to change. That could trigger some type of update or login token.

That's it! Just don't connect to the internet and enjoy your games like I do with my windows XP computer I'm doing the same thing.

Would it not be easier to just move over to Linux Mint for retro gaming? They'll have all the compatibility layers you'll need and can run on older hardware just as good if not better than 7.
