Buzzing noise through headphones while playing games

Whenever I launch a game my headphones start making a faint white noise, I use a SteelSeries Arctis 3

Solution:

I bought a a ground loop isolator for $10 and it completely fixed the issue, no more buzzing noise

Is it connected to a USB DAC or directly in a 3.5mm jack of your PC?
If the latter, is it the front/top connector? Those are usually suffering from poor shielding, resulting in poor audio quality due to interference.

It's connected through a 3.5mm jack in the back of my PC

Does this happen when using the headphones on different devices or just that PC?

I'm not sure, I don't have a laptop or second PC to test it on. I use these headphones on my PC only.

Maybe a tablet, smartphone or other portable device with a 3.5mm jack?

try the front connector to see if it removes the buzzing, if not a cheap USB DAC will fix it - I got a SB Play! 3[www.amazon.com] to remove the buzzing from my cheap mobo sound...

Clean the connectors, and unplug any AC power or other audio jacks that might be causing grounding loop.

Thank you all for your suggestions, I'm not very knowledgeable about electricity or computer hardware so I'm gonna buy a ground loop isolator and see if that fixes the issue

Go to Advanced Audio Settings in Windows where you can see Volume for each available audio port. Try muting ones like Mic and Line In one at a time and see which one is the culprit for causing the noise while you are wearing the headphones
