He also asked as upgrade for his 1650. Cheapest 8 GB card is hardly any upgrade.
That's way more than $100! Try again! Who in their right mind even thinks about a 8g rtx 3060, especially for that price!

Who in their right mind would spend $100 on card with same performance as the one they already have.

Wow! the 5500 xt 8g has almost twice the t-flops as the gtx 1650 and it has twice the vram. It also has higher memory bandwith, higher memory clockspeed, higher gpu boost. That's totally worth $100. I'm out of here OPer. Too many joke here for me ;)

How cheap are we even talking? Indian rupees? And only new is used an option?

Being a 'cheap' 8GB card and being a good one are 2 very different things that Mr woke seems to of overlooked.

Like Gainward.
I would steer clear of gainward, palit, cheap msi models, zotac. not much else left but with nvidia you are playing lottery with every card they released since turing.
either it's micron/hynix memory dying or their new connector being a fire hazard

amd exists but their driver support is not there yet and their build quality is better but not by a lot. if you want a silent gpu with a beefy cooler even their triple slot cooled cards, have 80-90 degrees celsius hotspot. when it reaches 80-90 c it will ramp up the fan curve.

intel is not good at the moment.

it's best you do your own research. look up techpowerup, guru3d and gather some basic information about the components.
sometimes you see even a cheap dual slot which is better designed

Even RX 580 or 590 offer 8GB VRAM and would blow away the 1650 easily.

Can find plenty of 580 8GB now under 120$ USD

Otherwise look at 3060 12GB or 3060 Ti GDDR6X 8GB

Having higher VRAM does not mean its more powerful. You can get 20 gigs of vram but it dont mean its beter for games.

It kind of does by proxy when VRAM actually scales up the stack properly unlike how it did for RTX 30 series, because it went 8, 8/12, 8, 8, 12, 10/12, 12, 24. And both AMD and NVIDIA both admit that even 8GB is barely enough, 12GB is more of a sweet spot for high end gaming now, with only 8GB you'll often need to leave some settings lowered or disabled and/or use DLSS/FSR, and that's at 1080p.

If OP bought a used RX 580 4GB, their performance issues wouldn't be solved, because they're still limited to the same 4GB buffer, so while they would get higher framerates, there's a limit to how high they'd be able to go with their settings and what not because 4GB is so little VRAM.

If you want most graphic demand video games, then it need good VRAM like at least 8 GB.

What about 1070 used ? or 1660s but it's 6gb , atleast these cards i was considering

It's not really worth pursuing older 8GB cards. No warranty, too old. You might spend a few bucks less but if it dies, you lose.

GTX 1070 and 1660 series also aren't faster enough to justify the cost. Surely for not much more you'd be able to get a faster, new GPU with a warranty.
