Funny enough, it's gone full circle from being a generic descriptor rather than a name, to an original name, and back to a generic descriptor.
It's just an app change. Origin was more for Win7/8
They warned its users back around 2020 after Win7 was officially dropped that the Origin app would be replaced.
Gamers shouls take a similar approach torwards Google, Microsoft, EA, Activision | Blizzard, Ubisoft, Denuvo, and so on.
No need to add fuel to the debate on whether games cause violence.
