Been debating on going back to watercooling for my i7 7700k again. I used Swiftech parts last time. Can't remember who I used for the water block though. Still have the dual rad.
on the other end of the scale, you have optimus pc which are very expensive, and for 2-3x the cost you get a couple degrees better temps and it looks cool.
heres my build i just tore down using optimus blocks and res with 4 rads, 2 480mm and 2 360mm rads.

while you can do a great loop for £500, that one was closer to £2000
new build is going a little crazier, 3 thick 480's and 2 thick 360's is the plan.
A good 360 aio costing 100 bucks will cover the majority of needs.
Mines a mix. EK rads, EK DDC4.2 pump, EK GPU block, and Heatkiller CPU block, rads are using Noctua NF-A12x25 PWMNF-A12x25 PWM. I did try hard tubes but it's a pita to build and a pita if you need to switch out something or strip for maintenance. I am happy with this.
I see that guy got banned, no surprise there.
Having a PC is an expensive hobby overall. A custom loop is an expensive cooling solution, not for everyone. My temps are cool and my PC is quiet, so why not, and i can always re-use the loop parts for any new build or parts change in the future.
You seem to know your sh*t, so I have a question for ya. What front fans would you think would be best on a NZXT Phantom410 case? I currently have 2 fans pulling into the case from the front as I have removed the hdd cage. One rear exhaust and one top exhaust. Currently with the Hyper212 without the ac on, temps are mid/high 30 c.
Just looking to see if there are better case fans for this particular case.
those will last nearly forever

70k hours (8 years continuous), im sure it will go much longer
6000rpm, 210cfm, 64db
its pwm, so turn it down for quiet
To avoid dust, positive is bet imo, so i would have 2 front Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM in, 1x Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM top IN and 1x Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM out, positive, so less dust, and all air drawing towards the read fan, out and towards your air cooler.
I have 6 Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM on my 2 rads and 4x LIAN Li linked fans( 4 fans, 1 lead) on the front
Know of a cheaper alternative? For 3 of those, it comes to $113CAD.
