Does the steam deck come with any type of film over the screen?

I just took the plunge and bought a steam deck. I'm going to be eating nothing but ramen for the next couple months to offset this financial splurge, and I wanted to know if the deck comes with any type of film protector over the screen? I plan on buying a proper tempered glass screen protector, but I'd like to delay buying that and a dock for a couple months while I wait for my finances to recover. I have bad luck with putting on tempered glass protectors after using devices with unprotected screens for a while (I ALWAYS get pieces of dust stuck under the glass - no matter how well I clean). I'm wondering if the deck has a little something to protect the screen during shipping that I can leave on for a couple months. Anyone know?

To my recollection, buying the 256 GB model, my Deck arrived in its protective case, tucked beside a smaller box for the charger, inside of a large box.
I don't recall there being any screen-protection in the packaging (because the case is very safe to keep it in), and there is no layer of film protecting the screen currently, though I may come to order something like that eventually.

I'd say you are safe to order some kind of protection for the screen if you like, but the Deck should arrive safe and sound.
