I3-4030u Strength on a game

Im asking for a friend, hes very shy and silly but like. Can his cpu handle a game like Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS) (It did recommend a core i5 2400, but im not sure still)
His cpu is an Intel Core i3- 4030U , so can his cpu handle that kind of game?

Also if any of you peeps know any games that the cpu can handle, lemme know, im picking games for him (Me and my friend are going for a gaming shopping spree, sort of)

just because its the same model as many other igpus, does not mean it performs the same, but often close enough

and igpu uses system ram as vram, so faster system ram makes a huge difference too

It doesn't recommend a Core i5 2400; that's the minimum requirement.

I had a Core i3 4010 in my old laptop (same CPU only a couple hundred MHz slower). It was slower in per core performance than the Core 2 Duo I had in another PC. The low close speed really hurts it. It's a slow CPU. It became too slow for Minecraft in modern versions (somewhere around 1.13 and newer was basically where it got too heavy for it). It's substantially slower than the desktop Sandy Bridge quad core you mentioned.

That said, I am not familiar with the game so I'm not sure how well it would run in it. Sometimes you can get by on less and performance might either be fine, or it might be awful.

Keep in mind the GPUs it is listing for the minimum requirement are also substantially faster than the HD4400.
