550 Watt PSU enough?
I want to upgrade my GPU from a rtx 2060 super to a rx 6700 xt in this summer, but i heard you should have a 650 watt psu, what do you mean? Is this a risk if i try it with my thermaltake 550 watt psu?

An i5?

What's your current full specs?

Better to go with Ryzen 5700X

Any i5 is going to be poop for a GPU above 3060 / 6600 XT
Eh? Like... eh!?

The 13600K is going to be faster than the 5700X more often than not (read as, almost always, as it competes very well with the 7700X). Relative to the 5700X, it's faster per core, and while it only has 6 performance cores (and 12 threads) to the 5700X's 8 cores/16 threads, the eight extra e-cores (so 14 cores/20 threads total) lends to it still outperforming the 5700X in multi-threaded stuff too. So it's literally a faster CPU in almost every scenario. Single threaded, multi-threaded, etc. Big drawback will be higher power use.

So in no world is a 13600K going to give the results you describe if a 5700X isn't also going to.

Granted, the 5700X may be a far better option in this particular case the sole fact OP already has an AM4 platform (or better yet, the 5800X3D), and I love the 5700X as one of my favorite blends of "high value, great performance, and still getting more than a hex core", much like the 3700X (and for a time, the 10700K even) before it. But in no way is a 13600K going to be bad for GPUs above upper-entry level/lower mid-range stuff from last generation and it's super surprising you think that. You could practically pair anything with it and it'd be fine.
I think this i5 was from an old generation which no longer in markets.
do you know the psu model?
again if its the tr2 550w get something better before it kills your new hardware

i have a question, Thermaltake is not really a good brand? i though it were good quality and trusted but as you guys are saying otherwise that's so werid, so the best ones may be XPG, Corsair and Cooler Master.

I will try this GPU in this spring or summer, amd said 500 watt should be enough.

you said rx 6800 xt?

https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2060S-Super-vs-AMD-RX-6650-XT/4049vsm1845690

the 6650 xt is about the same performance as a rtx 2060 super
It´s closer to a 2070 Super more than it is to a 2060 Super.
Even your own source says that....

oh pardon

again thermaltake has some very good and some pure trash
same with coolermaster and corsair

seasonic is very good, they actually make the psu designs
I'm actually shocked that someone would give up a working rtx 2060 super for AMDs offerings.

That do offer good ones but the TR2 lineup was so popular due to cheap pricing it always helps to ask which exact model it is cause just saying it's 500W don't mean anything
Look on pcpartpicker at completed builds for those parts. See what psus they using.

UserBenchmark is a joke, none of the results are trustworthy, everyone knows that. The site admin goes on hate-filled tirades every time AMD releases a new product, and chances the benchmark testing algorithm to make Intel and NVIDIA look better than they actually are, that site is banned on tech forums. Sometimes it's not far off like this time, but nobody that knows anything about that site actually uses it because it varies.

Throw the Thermaltake in the trash and get a Corsair RM (2021) series 650+ unit, you'll have a hard time finding something better in the same price range.

And why not? OP can sell the RTX 2060 Super and snag the RX 6650 XT which is faster than the RTX 2060 Super, and by a decent margin in games benchmark/comparisons I've seen. Only someone who's only used nVidia cards would say what you'd said, right now, AMD has cards one tier above nVidia's offerings, at similar prices.
