thats not great advice ..liquid coolers are better hands down.while a air cooler will max temp
almost immediately liquid coolers will take time to reach max temps and under normal use
hardly ever.thats why when you see them compare in test they have to let them run
20 minutes or so at full load.so that the liquid cooler will get up to temp that the air cooler hit almost immediatly.so the liquid cooler is far superior to air as in it will rarely if ever hit max temps in gaming or any other application minus stressing for tests.and then it still beats air even then.

I might end up getting the high performance air cooler possibly.
theres nothing wrong with air cooling

of course, I'd say that air cooling is more reliable ie you don't have to worry about coolant leaks etc

the better air coolers cost less and still get the same temps as cheap water coolers anyway

depends on what you are cooling

a 120mm air cooler is more than enough for cpu at stock, and better than a 120mm aio

the good air coolers can match a 240mm aio

beyond that you may want to look into a custom loop
but thats alot more maintenance and work to build
Coolant in an All-In-One (AIO-LC) sealed unit is not an issue. The issue is most of them come with a sub-par Pump. The part that actually mounts to the CPU and is responsible for coolant flow. The rest of the system should easily stand the test of time. And if your fans need replacing, off the shelf Case Fans would do the trick if needed. But the pump is something you can't really service or fix. It will wear out over time and this is what will have anyone who buys an AIO unit, replacing the entire unit every few years. It could last you beyond the period of time you plan to have that system, hard to say. Anything could die prematurely of course.

I live in a very warm place basically a desert and the summers get really warm out here. Temperature goes up to 112 degrees out here sometimes, but usually is 90 to 98 degrees.

if the OEM cooler (Wraith Stealth) isn't cutting it any longer, a cheap tower cooler would be a major improvement

I would go for the ID-COOLING SE-214-XT[www.amazon.com] for $20 and see how that does over the summer months.
Wraith Cooler not going to cut it with that kind of hot weather. Unless you live in a cave where it's nice and cool during those hot months.

I ended up getting a Noctua Air Cooler for a good cost.
Noctua U12A. I'm using it with my 7950X3D.
