Is 3060 more powerful than 1080 and 2080?
Is RTX 3060 more powerful card than GTX 1080 and RTX 2080 or not? I watched comparison where on RTX 3060 a game was running in 10+ more fps than on 2080, but still, from what I read RTX 3060 is card for 1080p/1440p gaming

A 3060, not the Ti, is on average around 2060 Super to 2070 in rendering power. A 3060Ti is around 2080 Super levels but below the 2080Ti.
An RTX 3060 is basically a 1080P card, yes, it can do 1440P, just don't expect high refresh rate gaming, and don't expect it to run latest GPU intensive games well at 1440P, some visual/graphics compromises would be necessary.

Actually, an RX 6750 XT 12GB can be had for less than the RTX 3060, and it's faster as well. Just google RTX 3060 vs RX 6700 XT or RX 6750 XT
Look at the 3060 Ti instead of regular 3060. The 12GB on regular 3060 does not help. 3060 Ti is way faster overall, for around the $400 range
A 3060 can do 2160p with ease. If other features are tuned down.

What graphics card can do 4k?
3060 is best at 1080p and 1440p. It can do 2160p (4K) but not well enough to make a good choice to run all games at 4K.

3060 Ti is a good step above any non-Ti 3060 for only a few $ more. Well worth it if you can't find 3070 Ti or better at a reasonable price. Like back during the Black November sales, Amazon and Newegg had Zotac 3070 Ti on sale for 599$USD

Sure, if you are willing to turn down graphics setting, in that case, my GTX 1080 can do Godfall at '4K', with FSR set at Quality. Ran at 50'ish fps and higher, good enough for a game like Godfall. Many lower end cards can do '4k' IF you run the game at just about every graphics setting at low. Cards like the RTX 3060 Ti/2080 Super, RX 6700 XT/6750XT are basically 1080P and 1440P cards, but do bear in mind that while the are better at RT, if that is important to you, they would need games that support DLSS to ensure good framerate.

As for the AMD cards, the RX 6700 XT/6750XT are pure rasterize gaming beasts, plus extra VRAM (8GB on nVidia vs 12GB on AMD) which seems to be becoming a factor with certain games. The RX 6700 XT/6750 XT easily outpaces the RTX 3060 in rasterize gaming....

Here's A vid of a comparison between the RTX 3060 and the RX 6700 XT (the RX 6750 XT is a tad faster than it)

My screen is 60hz. And i never go above 72 fps anyway. Due to the fact that i ain't a fly or bat.
But what most people forget it ain't just the gpu. It's the board, the cpu and the ram, which also counts.

Well no, if you have 60Hz you never go above 60 fps either. As the extra frames get dumped. Higher fps might feel a little smoother but that depends on the game and also it's a brain trick that occurs between your screen and how your brain processes what your eyes see.
