Zero reason to even look at RTX2k at all. Radeon RX 6K is equal or better than RTX2k in RT at every product tier, and out performs RTX2k by a *huge* margin in non-RT loading.
Either look at an RX Radeon such as a 6600xt or anything higher.
A 6600xr will already be 15-30% faster than the 2060, and the cards only get better as you go up the product stack.
Unless you have a contact selling you a 2060 for a super good deal (say sup-$100) I would run away from it. Not worth it for either used 3 gen old tech, or new old tech at likely a bad price. Not when RX6k is on the market.
It's probably because of your CPU not your GPU
Upgrade to a Ryzen 5 5600 and get an RX 6600. Uses 50+ watts LESS than the RX 580 but performs somewhere between 50~75% faster depending on the instance, and the 5600 is far superior to the 2200G, even just upgrading your CPU would get you noticeable gains in framerate because older Ryzen APUs were just utter trash, they didn't get good until the Zen3 versions like the 5600G came out, as they're just slightly slower than their CPU counterparts, whereas the 2200G and 2400G were quite a bit slower than other 2000 series chips because they used the older Zen1 architecture instead of Zen+, same story with 3000 series and 4000 series.
RTX 2060 is good, but it's old and outperformed by many newer and cheaper cards. Buy rtx 2060 only if you find it deep under $200, otherwise - get RX 6600/xt.
But, since you play at 1440p, none of those cards are good enough in long term. Try to get at least a 6700 XT or RTX 3070, if you wanna be safe for few years, playing games like RDR2 (which you have in library).
A possibility is that you find a setup that works without change. Or you learn what is the more promising upgrade path is.
My experience with 2200g is its super weak. And AMD would deserve another lawsuit for misleading labeling -- all their g cpus are one generation behind the number. And the iGPU uses the silicon from cache and pcie lines. You should have bought 2600 or 2400 at the time.
Your gpu is old but still pretty strong and should work fine with tuning down gpu-intesive settings. I'd only swap it on good evidence.
The CPU can be upgraded for very cheap. I would get either the 5300g or 5600. The 5300g is very quick, so is the 5600. $99 for 5300g and $139 for 5600.
The 5600 will offer a little more for gaming performance. The 5300g has an igpu, depending on what that's worth. The 5600 will support pcie 4.0, which honestly won't matter because the 2060 only supports pcie 3.0 anyways.
If I were in your shoes I would get a discounted rtx 2060 12g from MSI and a 5300g for dirt cheap.
