check the file properties, makes sure the extension is .gcode
its below 16g, its also .gcode
Don't expect a 3D printer to do anything right until you set it up first time. Bed levelling and Z offset at least.
You also don't want to be printing random gcode you find in a zip file.

I don't know if that is a particularly good guide its just the first one I found.
Bed adhesion is one of the most common issues and comes down to user error. The easy and lazy way out of it is to use an adhesive like a gluestick or hairspray on the bed, but it's arguably the incorrect way of going about it.
#1 Calibrate the e-steps https://all3dp.com/2/extruder-calibration-6-easy-steps-2/
#2 Adjust the first layer to print hot and slow, filament sticks best to filament, not so well to printbeds so giving the first layer some time to adhere will greatly help with the first layer sticking.
#3 Level your bed and put some effort in to it. Spending 10 minutes making sure it's as close to perfectly leveled as you can get it will save you far more time and headaches in the long run.

set bed temp to 60-70c (if the room is cold, 70c)
to level, use a piece of paper, the nozzle should never touch the bed
if filament does not stick, use glue stick

1 swipe across area to print, no more
the filament the ender ships with is junk, dont even try to use it
get a good roll
r3d is good, 1kg black is on sale for $14 (i get whatever is cheapest works good)

Don't compress your .gcode files, just copy them to the SD card root in your file manager. The 3D printer processor can only understand uncompressed files.
It's always best to slice your own models - https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura - This software is free and works on any brand 3D printer.

not trying to argue here, but technically it is part of a computer based on how you have to constantly link them
That would be user error. The nozzle is likely fine and just clogged, though it's annoying to unclog it I doubt it's not salvageable. The long thin needle that likely came with your printer is what you use to stick down the hotend from the filament entry when it's heated up to push the clog through.
The nozzle isn't supposed to touch the bed on the first layer, but be a little bit less than half the layer height above it (varies with bed types/adhesion necessities). Can you post a picture of how allegedly ruined your print bed is? If you don't want to purchase a replacement then you could do the old trick of making a layer out of wide painters tape to even it out. We used to do this on older printers with metal headbeds and it works decently well, though comes with the annoyance of having to replace the tape every now and then.
heat it up to 240c and if you can manually feed filament its fine
you can bake the stock bowden tube easily
https://www.amazon.com/Creality-Capricorn-Filament-Pneumatic-Fittings/dp/B086YPDHMF
chep has a mod for putting a small piece in the hot end, replace that every few months when it gets tougher to feed filament
the hot end does need to be cleaned about every month if using it daily
and the 40mm fans would need to be replaced about every 6mo
rollers about every year
also think about the metal extruder, pushes filament easier and does not wear like the plastic one
