You were born in the late 2000 bro... are you serious? Ive got the 18yr service badge and owned CRT all the way to the AW3423DW. No one should take you serious i dont. Bye
Dude, I'm 37, what the hell are you even talking about?
Only on steam for 9yrs, Claims to be 37yo ppi expert. Doesnt add up does it?
Doesn't matter. People are different on ears and eyes. Some hear/see differences most others cant notice. Or get annoyed by some diff that is percepted but ignored by others.
It can be sort of a curse and money drain. :) The poster may be in that category if the claim of having a zillion monitors is true -- while we can live with just one every 10 years. The point is not to jump on others' conclusions blindly. And when shopping consider one's own reality. With special caution about the extremes on both sides of the spectrum.
You are right because in 1999 there was no such thing as pixels and aliasing did not exist. A CRT projects an image back when i was a kid my res was 1280x1024@85hz if i am right. So think about that 720p 85fps our eyes grew up with pixels being an alien concept. And its only since LCD you see pixels... Which is why its sucked for so long. To my eyes 90ppi makes them bleed the aliasing is so so bad. Even 1440p is not enough the AW3423DW clearly looks like it is big the image had a weird look to ot compared to say 4k 24 inch. The clear winner is the higher ppi display.
The effect of 1440p 27inch is much like thr same effect when we would use 800x600 on the CRT we purposly used a lower resolution to not only gain access to 100hz modes but it made the images bigger. So if heads are bigger its more easy to shoot them. In the future there will be 8k 27 inch unless monitor manufactuers agree with this insane claim that 90-109ppi is enough. In that case there will be no 8k monitors (absurd) or they will be 85 inches (absurd).
