Single mouse click & scroll function twice.

My mouse started to click twice, it makes my PC difficult to use and also ruins gaming. How to fix this.

I have fixed many double clicking mice with wd40, I take them apart, push the switch down and try to dab some wd40 inside the switch and work it in, if it s sprays all over the PCB, its not going to hurt anything, it just it can be a dust magnet.

Some mice the way they are built and depends how dusty your desk is, it might do it again as you will never get all the wd40 out and it will eventually collect dust again.

When I collect enough mice with dead buttons I was thinking I could cannibalise them and make a working mouse out of it, but those things are stupidly small and my soldering irons aren't.
Pretty much have a shopping bag full of dead mice. lol.

Yeah, I've been telling my self to buy a decent soldering iron for years now, but never have lol
