Can you use a Windows 10 USB multiple times on different computers?
It would just be nice to know if a friend needs it or if I build another computer at a later date.

Yes. However many you'd like.

And if not, you can download the installation media from Microsoft and put that on a thumb drive using YUMI or your prefered software. The installation media is provided free of charge. You pay for the license key to use and the thumbdrive.

Win10 is free until July
The free version which the Download Tool provides is a Full version of Win10
The only difference between the free version and one that is registered with a key is without a key Personalize options are disabled, but other than that its a full free version.

If you want to personalize your win10, profile pic etc so on then thats where a registration key comes in.

So as long as you install it on said PCs before the period ends you own it.
After which a key will be required.

So to cut it short, you have until July 26th i believe is when the Free period ends to install Win10 and be able to own it without needing a key.

Install media is just that, for installing. The media itself has no direct ties to any key. The key is determined usable or not based on installed OS version

BTW, even those are not limited; there is a simple registry change u can make to unlock and allow for these options.
