[SOLVED] Logitech G502 Drifting/Sliding/Erratic Behaviour
Ever since yesterday after I had accidentally installed an adware virus, my mouse started behaving very glitchy, if i were to move the mouse in a circle it would go in a circle, drift off a little sideways, as in it moves in a straight line or curved line to somewhere else, sometimes when i let go of the mouse after doing circles with it the cursor moves for approx. 2sec before stopping. In games such as Csgo, Skyrim and GTA 4, the mouse sensitivity is lowered around 10 times (checked using source's sensitivity command) and i could not flick or aim properly. Although in desktop mode the mouse sensitivity is normal but the behaviour is very erratic.

I had triedusing windows defender full scan
Using baidu full scan and removed all viruses
Reinstalling drivers
Uninstalling device from device manager
Rebooting computer

Specs: Acer Aspire 3820TG
Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit
Intel Core i5-480M
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
4GB DDR3

Note: Theres an application frequently stop working, dwm.exe which is desktop windows manager. I presume its a completely seperate problem but it started occuring at the same time as the mouse problem so it may be related.
I would like to put off reseting my computer for now unless absolutely nessesary
I can provide as much information to my ability as possible as i am really desperate.

Sounds more like dust on the lens.

I dont think so, as it normally becomes very severe after I launch a game but if left in desktop mode for a while it becomes less common. But just in case i have cleaned the mouse to the best of my ability and it dosent solve anything nor reduce the effects.

Then I don't know. Try reinstalling the driver.

I mentioned that i had already reinstalled the drivers for my mouse (Logitech Gaming Software) I have not, however, formatted the mouse on board memory as i have absolutely no idea how to do that.

Try a different USB port.

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried all available USB ports and the problem still persists, using the touchpad seems wonky, not as noticable as the mouse but its definitely there, the cursor goes somewhere else every so often when moving in a circle with the touchpad.

Turn off enhanced pointer precision if it is enabled.

Well I tried it and cleared all the coinminers and adware but after a reset and launching a game it seems that it does not work.
