Logitech G35 Problems
Hi, so i've been using 2 different G35's the last 4 years. Last year i had to replace my first one because the sound broke, and I got a new one. Now the secound one both the G35's sound and mic seems to be the problem.

In Sound>Playback Devices, the sound bar doesnt seem to be picking up any sounds that are being played. Same thing in Recording Devices with my microphone, mic doesn't seem to be picking up any sound. Both are set to default devices ofc.

And i also tried different USB ports, no luck on that. In both Speaker and Microphone "Levels" both the sound and microphone were on, tried turning them both up to max but still didn't seem to do anything.

I tried updating drivers on both Sound and Microphone, but that doesnt seem to help either, I also tried older driver versions, didnt fix either. I even uninstalled the drivers and downloaded them from Logitech's own site again. I also installed latest Logitech Gaming Software version, and even uninstalling the whole software to see if that would fix it or not, no dice.

Also tried changing on Sound>Advanced from CD Quality to worse, didn't fix either. On Device Manager it says both speakers and microphone are working properly.

Is there anything i haven't tried yet? Anyone on the forums who also has had these problems with the G35? I still have warranty so i could get money back or get a new pair, but i still just wanted to know if there are any other "solutions" that i haven't tested yet.

Im on Windows 8.1 64-Bit.

No issues with G35 on Window 7 for me. I've come across a lot of posts with issues on 8.1 for G35 and G930 headsets.

You might be better off posting on the Logitec forums (http://forums.logitech.com/) to see if anyone there has similar issues or a resolution.

Did u check to ensure the Volume on the device itself (there are external controls on such headsets) for Speakers is Up? And that the Mic is not set to Mute.

Also download the latest "Logitech Gaming Software" from Logitech site (from here)
http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g35-surround-sound-headset#download
^ Select OS and version (32bit vs 64bit) based on what OS u currently are using.
Then install and setup that software, if available, update the headset's Firmware
