GTX 980 to RTX 2080
I'm tempted to upgrade for (£640) RTX 2080. Anyone think the upgrade is worth it?

To add. My system has a i7 8700k, 32gb RAM and I play at 1440p @ 165 hz.

It's very much worth it, the 980 is only around 1060 6GB performance, while the 2080 is around 1080 Ti performance. Depends on if you can get a used 1080 Ti, 8G or 11G, for cheaper than a new 2080.

https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2080-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1080-Ti/4026vs3918 - 2080 very ever so slightly better than 1080 Ti 8G due to architecture and features, but if you can get a 1080 Ti 11G for cheaper, then there's really no reason to get a 2080 as it will take years for DXR and DLSS to really become widespread enough for RTX to be worth paying more when you can get equal or better for less

At 1440p sure it's a big jump and better suited from gtx980/1060 .
