Gaming 75hz vs 144hz
Please don't bring 60hz to the discussion Thanks.

I'm playing on a monitor that is IPS and overclocked to 75hz https://www.asus.com/Monitors/VX24AH/ and if I focus hard enough I can till a difference between 60 and 75 fps.I have never seen a 144hz monitor in action before and doubt ill see one unless I buy it. My question is whether 144hz is noticeable to you,or not vs 75hz? I'd be glad to hear from high refresh rate monitors owners.

I own 980 ti 2 way sli i7 6700k build.

Thanks.

I have acer Xb270h @144 hz the differences are subtle... But seems alot more fluid compared to my samsung 60 hz tv.... How much of that is gsync, im not sure.

You also have to manually enable G-Sync yourself; it's not always on.

Even just a single 980 Ti, yes it would be good idea to run @ 1440p / 144Hz
The refresh isn't the real concern, it's the sync method, get a G-Sync Monitor.

I have 2 monitors. My main Asus PG278Q (1440p, 144hz, g-sync) and my secondary ASUS VC239H (1080p, 60hz, IPS). And i don't even need to use games to see the difference. 60hz seems to be extremelly jumpy even on the desktop compared to 144hz. Most noticeably the mouse cursor movement. And ofc in actual games the difference is like night and day.

But then again, you are using SLI and it can cause minor stuttering even with g-sync which can somewhat negate the smoothness of 144hz. I know that from my personal experience with 2x gtx980's.
